Flush-mount panel for recessed lighting junction box?
LED recessed light has a junction box that's hard to reach. Want a small access hatch right next to it without ruining the ceiling look.

Tiny panels exist, but they warp. This access panel in 6x6 size is stiff enough for ceiling use. I cut the hole between joists, used drywall screws into the panel frame for overhead strength, and textured it to match the ceiling spray. From below it looks like part of the light trim. Changing bulbs or wiring is now a screwdriver job instead of a demolition.
